Utica Community Schools is proud to announce that 67 fourth-, fifth- and sixth-graders at Beck Elementary School have been inducted into  the school's National Elementary Honor Society — the first UCS elementary school to have a chapter.
 
This is beyond making the honor roll, as National Honor Society, National Junior Honor Society and the National Elementary Honor Society groups serve to honor students who have demonstrated excellence in the areas of scholarship, leadership, service and character (and citizenship for NJHS and NEHS).
