For the seventh straight year, the players of the Dakota varsity girl's basketball team spent part of their Thanksgiving vacation volunteering at the Capuchin Soup Kitchen in Detroit.
The Capuchin Soup Kitchen has served Thanksgiving meals since 1929, and during the year, its distribution center provides food for 150 families a day.
