Awarded DMC Children’s Hospital of Michigan’s 2013 Award for Pharmacy Excellence is Macomb resident Cheryl Szof, R.Ph. 

Employed at the hospital since 1982, Cheryl is a clinical pharmacist. Among her duties she advises physicians on drug usage and dose control in the hospital. According to the Director of Pharmacy Services Dennis Gate, "Commitment and dedication are two words that describe Cheryl. She often works above and beyond to ensure assignments are complete. This recognition is well deserved." 

This is Cheryl’s second time receiving the DMC Children's Hospital of Michigan’s highest employee award for quality in the Pharmacy Division.
