Celebrity Boy Drummer to Headline Macomb Twp. Fun & Fitness Fest
Julian Pavone, Guinness World Record Holder & Youngest Professional Drummer, will be performing with his band, “The Julian Pavone Experience” at the Fun & Fitness Festival Sept. 22, from noon to 2 p.m.
He may be "the youngest professional drummer," according to Guinness World Records, and an international rockstar to boot, but 8-year-old Julian Pavone is also a Macomb Township resident whose next hometown concert is scheduled for Saturday, Sept. 22.
Pavone will perform with his band, “The Julian Pavone Experience,” at Macomb Township's Fun & Fitness Festival from noon to 2 p.m. at Macomb Corners Park on 25 Mile Road.
The event includes a free lunch for the first 1,000 guests starting at noon and dozens of activities to promote fun and fitness for the whole family. These include:
- Kidzone with inflatables and fitness zone
- Family ‘Fun Run/Walk’ with raffle prizes
- Kick Start toddler soccer (ages 2-5 years)
- Family volleyball with giant volleyballs
- Zumba & Boot Camp mini sessions with fitness pro Maria Marinos
- Farmer’s Market Stand(s)
- Punt, Pass & Kick Football Contest (11:30 a.m. registration at field – must have birth certificate!)
- Free raffles and Giveaways!
- Strolling entertainment including Giggles the Clown and Juggle Boy Nick
The event is free and open to all Macomb Township residents.
