Dakota Junior Bowls Over Competition
Nicole Mikaelian shined in individual competitions and helped the Cougars advance to the semifinals of the state tournament.

A junior at Dakota High School, Mikaelian reached the semifinals of the Division 1 state bowling individual finals on March 2 in Muskegon.
In addition Mikaelian helped the Cougars advance to the semifinals at the the state team finals on March 1.
She also helped Dakota win the regional team title on Feb. 22 at Five Star Lanes in Sterling Heights. At the individual regional tournament, Mikaelian placed third with a score of 1217.
