Get Out: Murder Mysteries, Follicular Fantasies and Sunkissed Sundays

"Cinderella" comes to life on the Lutheran North stage, a midnight hair show serves music and style to guests and "Two Decades of Dance" at the MCC Performing Arts Center are just a few of the events offered around town this weekend.

 

MURDER MYSTERY DINNER
Where/When: Aspen Restaurant; Thursday, April 14, and Saturday, April 16, at 6:30 p.m.
Why Go: Love a little mystery with your dinner? Reserve your spot at Aspen and get ready to solve a crime as you dine. The theme this Thursday and Saturday are "The Hawaiian Resort," and it's presented by Cecilia Bouchard.
Pricing: $20 per person includes dinner and interactive show.

SEE "CINDERELLA"
Where/When: Lutheran High School North; 7:30 p.m. April 14-16.
Why Go: See the kids at Lutheran North bring the Rodgers & Hammerstein classic musical "Cinderella" to life on stage.
Pricing: $10 adults, $5 students.

FOLLICULAR FANTASY
Where/When: Empire Lounge; Friday, April 15, 5 p.m.-2 a.m.
Why Go: Empire Lounge is hosting a VIBE Hair Studio Hair Show, with dinner, a hair show at midnight featuring DJ William Novah, and cocktails and dancing until closing time.
Pricing: Varies.

EISENHOWER DANCE ENSEMBLE CELEBRATION OF DANCE
Where/When: Macomb Center for Performing Arts; Saturday, April 16, 8 p.m.
Why Go: See Eisenhower Dane Ensemble as it celebrates "Two Decades of Dance in Detroit." The ensemble concludes its 20th anniversary season with this gala event. Enjoy seeing past and present EDE dancers in an evening of artistry and athleticism.

SUNKISSED SUNDAYS
Where/When: Tin Fish at Partridge Creek; Sunday, April 17, 7 p.m.-2 a.m.
Why Go: Tin Fish presents Sunkissed Sundays, with special guest DJs, drink specials, no cover and free pizza at 1 a.m.
