The stork's first delivery in 2013 to Henry Ford Macomb Hospital was a beautiful baby girl, hospital officials report.
The girl was born at 12:43 p.m. Jan. 1, weighing a healthy seven pounds, six ounces.
Although the girl's name was not released, Isabella and Olivia proved popular in 2012 for Henry Ford Macomb babies, according to an informal survey of the Birthing Center staff.
For boys, the names Aiden and Jack were plentiful, with quite a few Henrys throw in for good measure.
Across the country, Aiden and Sophia remained in the top spots for most popular boys' and girls' names in 2012, respectively.
According to the list of the 100 most popular baby names of 2012 released by BabyCenter, a website that compiles its list from some 450,000 baby names submitted by parents, the top five names for each gender were as follows:
