L'Anse Creuse North boys basketball team topped county rival Chippewa Valley 43-41 Monday in the MHSAA boys basketball tournament.
The victory for L'Anse Creuse North (20-3) gives the team a shot for the regional championship at 6 p.m. Wednesday against Detroit Southeastern (17-5). The championship game will be played at Grosse Pointe North, according to MHSAA.com.
Chippewa Valley finishes the season with a 13-10 record.
