Macomb Post Office to be Dedicated to Fallen Marine
Ceremony honoring Lance Corporal Anthony A. DiLisio will take place on Friday on Samohin Drive.
A dedication ceremony will be held Friday morning for Lance Corporal Anthony A. DiLisio Clinton-Macomb Carrier Annex, according to a report in the Detroit News.
The post office, located at 15285 Samohin Drive, is named after DiLisio, a Marine and Macomb Township native who died in Afghanistan.
DiLisio was 20 years old when he died. He graduated from Dakota High School and enlisted in the Marines shortly after finishing school.
Congress passed a bill late last year to name the post office after DiLisio.
