Macomb's Dries to Play Hockey at Western Michigan
Forward looks to contribute for the Broncos next season.
Macomb Township native Sheldon Dries has signed a letter of intent to play college hockey at Western Michigan, according to the school’s athletic department.
Dries, a 5-foot-8 forward, has scored five goals in 17 games with the Green Bay Gamblers of the USHL this season.
The 17-year-old Dries also played for the Belle Tire AAA program.

“Sheldon is top five on his team in scoring as a rookie and that’s really impressive,” said Rob Facca, an assistant coach and recruiting coordinator for Western Michigan. “He’s a really solid two-way centerman. He has a good skill set and his motor never stops.”
