Romney Takes Macomb County in Primaries
Michigan native Mitt Romney won over most Macomb County Republicans in the Tuesday night election.
A majority of Macomb County Republicans want Mitt Romney as their next president—as do a majority of Michigan Republicans.
Romney won the county with 37,838 votes or 43.3% while Rick Santorum slid in second with 30,218 votes or 34.6%, according to Macomb County Election Department results Tuesday night with 100% of the precincts reporting.
Trailing behind Romney and Santorum were Ron Paul with 10,245 votes or 11.7% and Newt Gingrich with 6,338 votes or 7.2%. Among the voters, 2,147 or 2.5% were uncommitted.
Romney was the winner in the 10th and 12th Congressional Districts.
Also in the primary, nearly 18,000 or 83% of Democrats showed support for President Barack Obama by casting ballots while 3,643 voters were uncommitted, according to Tuesday night election results with 92% of those precincts reporting.

Do these Romney backers know his buddies took thousands of jobs out of the country? This family was effected by it. I know the people that backed him in 2008. Since then those companies have sent jobs out of here.
