Sheriff's Deputies Arrest Detroit Woman Under Prostitution Ordinance in Macomb

Sheriff's deputies arrest Detroit woman under prostitution ordinance

On Sept. 25, at approximately 4:15 a.m., Macomb County sheriff's deputies arrested a 42-year-old Detroit woman in the area of Homestead Drive and Card Road under Macomb Township's ordinance for prostitution, according to the sheriff's office.

The woman was a passenger in a vehicle being driven by a 25-year-old man from Flint, who was cited for driving on a suspended license. The woman was also cited for possession of narcotic paraphernalia, according to the sheriff's office.

Home invasions reported on Middle River Drive and Cheylade Drive

On Sept. 26, at approximately 4:53 p.m., a resident in the 50400 block of Middle River Drive reported a home invasion, according to the sheriff's office.

There was nothing reported missing and no signs of forced entry, according to the sheriff's office.

There are no suspects at this time.

On Sept. 24, at approximately. 6:55 p.m., a resident in the 46000 block of Cheylade Drive reported a home invasion, which resulted in the loss of jewelry, according to the sheriff's office.

The home was unlocked, according to the sheriff's office.

There are no suspects at this time.
