Dudley here again with important news for your pets.

January marks the official Train Your Dog month, which was started two years ago from Association of Pet Dog Trainers (APDT). Their goal is to promote the importance of properly training your dogs to become happy companions.

Pet Smart of Utica offers low-rate classes on training your pet. They not only have classes for puppies, but they also offer classes for older dogs like me. It not only benefits us doggies, but also educates our parents.

I know I could use some refreshers for my training, advancing from what I already know ... sit, shake, roll over and high-five.
