Did you just read this article about what kind of fun things there are to do when visiting Macomb? There were lots of fun things on that list, and I was inspired to create my own list of fun things to do in Macomb!
Partridge Creek: I love the MJR movie theater! It’s huge, and I love their buffet of popcorn salt. I know there are a lot of restaurants at Partridge Creek to choose from, but my absolute favorite is Bar Louie. The food is fantastic! The pretzel bites with dipping sauces are yummy, and the salmon served over orzo is delectable! They have a great wine and beer selection, too. I also love getting a coffee at Starbucks, and drinking it alfresco.
Cherry Creek Golf: I am not an avid golfer, but my husband contributed this item to the list because it is his favorite local place to golf. When taking out customers, he said that Cherry Creek is always his first choice.
The Harbor Grille Bistro at MacRay: I may be partial to this place since it is the location of our wedding reception, but I love to have dinner at MacRay. Since it’s right on the water, and there is a lovely view with all the boats from the marina. Also, the food is delicious!
Nino Salvaggio: I know this is technically a supermarket; however, I like to think of it as my little escape to other countries by the way of food and wine. They have a delicious gourmet food section that is perfect for when you are on the go. Nino’s has the best cheese selection I have ever seen. Sometimes I pick up a chunk of their triple cream brie and a baguette, and I am instantly transported back to France. And the wine selection is incredible (they are the only place that carries the wine of the vineyard my husband and I visited in Italy); the sommelier is always very helpful.
Stony Creek Metro Park Boat Launch: I may have mentioned this in my last list, but it is such a great location to spread out a blanket and have a picnic and watch the boats go by. And if you want to step up a notch and make it fancy, pick up some of that yummy food at Nino’s I was just telling you about!
