Highlighting the achievements of college athletes who call Macomb home.Three runners with Macomb Township ties helped the Macomb Community College women's cross country team finish seventh at the NJCAA national meet in South Carolina. Kayla Pfund, a graduate of Lutheran High North, placed 13th in the nation with a time of 18:44 in the 5K race. Pfund earned All-America status with her performance. Sarah Ball, a graduate of Dakota High School, and Ciara Poppe, a graduate of L'Anse Creuse High School North, also competed for MCC.
