Cantata Academy Chorale periodically accepts experienced adult singers in all vocal ranges.  Auditions can be scheduled for Sunday January 6, 2013 (or another date by appointment) by contacting Music Director and Conductor Susan Catanese at susan_catanese@yahoo.com, 586-291-1897, or call the Cantata Academy Chorale office at (313) 242-7282. Bring a prepared piece of a classical nature and be ready for sight reading. A pianist will be provided. 

Now in its 52nd season, the Chorale is an auditioned adult chorus of approximately 40 singers performing throughout Southeast Michigan. Each year it produces its own subscription concert series and hires out to orchestras, churches, and other concert series. The Cantata Academy Chorale has appeared with every major orchestra in the metropolitan Detroit area, including the Detroit Symphony Orchestra. In addition, from 1973 through 2005, the Chorale has made biennial tours to Europe.  Plans for the next tour are underway. The Chorale's Music Director and Conductor is Susan Catanese, a gifted and experienced choral conductor recently retired from Chippewa Valley Schools, where she was named Outstanding High School Educator of the Year for Macomb County. The Chorale holds weekly rehearsals during the concert year (normally September to June) on Sunday evenings in Warren, MI.  For further information, contact Cantata Academy Chorale, P.O.
