Interactive workshop to help girls understand girls. Program Goal: To challenge & empower girls to build self-esteem, while learning tools & strategies to develop healthier friendships!

Friendship Building workshops for grades 1- 6 brings mothers & daughters together in an exciting  and interactive format to teach girls how to be better friends. These workshops focus on the ever changing world of " BFFs". The lines of communication will improve when  moms  learn to better understand and support their daughters as they navigate the unpredictable world of girl friendships.  Girls will learn to trust their moms so they will be the first person they turn to when advise is needed.

Each girl will receive a "My Friendship Bracelet Maker" kit for attending.

Refreshments included. Register by Feb. 28

Instructor: Mary Jo Ciani Gaddie, M.A., L.L.P.C., an experienced K-8 school counselor and family therapist.

The Marvin Blank Senior Citizens Center is located behind the Macomb County Sheriff's Macomb Township Sub-Station and Fire Station No. 1 on 23 Mile Road. The center is open during scheduled programming and not on a drop-in basis. Senior groups, such as Chicks with Sticks, meet weekly at the center, and activities such as craft projects and lectures are regularly scheduled.
