Greater Faith Assembly

Equity Alliance of Michigan is hosting a conversation for 1000 Black men on Saturday, April 20th to discuss the physical, mental, financial, and spiritual well-being of men in our region. Special guest speakers will include the world's most renowned motivational speaker, Les Brown, Michael Vick, (Former NFL quarterback, FOX NFL analyst), Hill Harper, (American actor, entrepreneur, and political candidate) and others. 
This event will take place at Greater Faith Assembly, located at 9760 Woodward Ave, Detroit, MI 48202. Doors will open at 11 AM and the event will begin at 12:00 PM.

Grosse Pointe Theatre presents Disney’s Newsies the Musical, May 3-12, at Parcells School Auditorium, in Grosse Pointe Woods. Inspired by the Newspaper Strike of 1899 in New York City, Newsies, packed with wonderful songs and electrifying dances, is the tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy who led a group of young newsies to take on powerful publishing giants to fight for fair conditions. Newsies

Join Grosse Pointe Theatre and the talented 37-member cast of Newsies as they share this family-friendly story of hope and humanity and help carry that sentiment forward by participating in a collection of items to support kids through Detroit Goodfellows. Collection bins will be in the lobby at each performance to accept the NEW toys and other items for kids that will be part of the gifts distributed by Detroit Goodfellows during the 2024 Christmas season.

Help “Seize the Day” for kids served by Detroit Goodfellows by bringing NEW children’s winter hats, gloves, mittens, socks, crayons, coloring books, color pencils, washable markers, small stuffed animals, and lip balm to help brighten the 2024 holiday season. Collection bins will be in the lobby at Newsies performances.

Oakland County Business Association Inc is now inviting all Michigan artist, crafters, designers, entrepreneurs, exhibitors and vendors to reserve space and exhibit at 13TH EXPO MICHIGAN inside stores at Lakeside Mall, Sterling Heights, MI 
We are looking for hundreds of local people that are artist or crafters. 
There is space for hundreds of Entrepreneurs starting a new business.
There is space for hundreds of local businesses that want to advertise and promote their business, products and services.
Free Admission to the public. Open "Black Friday" 11 am to 6 pm. Open Saturdays 11 am to 6 pm and Sundays 12 pm to 6 pm.
Events began in 2012 to promote: Michigan, people, products, businesses and services.
Events were started by a group of people working for several disability agencies in southeast Michigan. Some people with disabilities are unable to work a regular job. Many people begin making handcrafted items or starting a small business. 
EXPO MICHIGAN, and all previous events (Saturday Super Sale, Entrepreneurs Expo, Small Business Fair, Michigan Crafters Marketplace) are to provide a professional business exhibition opportunity for EVERYONE.
Events scheduled for 2024 holiday season are offered to exhibit at half price of all previous events!
Reserve space before August 1, 2024 for half price. Post on all social media every day in 2024. Invite people to your exhibit. Email family and friends. The goal is 200 or more exhibitors every weekend. Each person is posting all over social media. Thousands of people in Michigan will see these post and visit EXPO MICHIGAN at Lakeside Mall.
"Black Friday" weekend, regular $199 all three days, $99 advance. Regular price is $199.
One weekend: December (7, 8) (14, 15) (21, 22) $49 each, paid in advance. Regular $99 each weekend.
ALL DAYS, set up Wednesday before Thanksgiving and stay all days. Set up once. Your exhibit is locked inside the store, everyone enters and leaves at the same time. These are all front spaces. Reserve before August 1, 2024 to exhibit for $249 each 10 x 10 space. Some front spaces are 8 x 10.
