"Flying a Huey in Vietnam" Presentation

The Yankee Air Museum is pleased to host a Historic Presentation Night on Wednesday, January 8, 2014 at 7:30pm. This event features Jerry Towler,
discussing his experiences as an Army helicopter pilot in Vietnam. Jerry
was involved in the Battle for the Ia Drang Valley, the battle portrayed in the movie "We Were Soldiers". He is also in the book "Chickenhawk". The Huey on display at our museum is dedicated to Jerry and is painted up like the helicopter he flew in Vietnam. This is a free event and is open to the public. 734-483-4030. Or visit us at:
