24 Mile Construction Set to Finish in November

Fairchild and 24 Mile road work is taking place in Macomb Township.

Motorists in Macomb Township no longer have to avoid 23 Mile after a major bridge reconstruction project recently wrapped.

But, 24 Mile detours are posted as that corridor gets paved from North Avenue to Fairchild. Construction on Fairchild between 21 and 23 Mile roads and a section of 22 Mile east of Fairchild will also be paved. The estimated completion date for the road work, which began in August, is Nov. 1, according to the Road Commission of Macomb County.
