Get Out: Classic Cars, Time Travel and Murder

It's the end of the week. You're bored. You want something to do. You've come to the right place.


Where/When: Cobo Center, Friday, Feb. 25, noon-1o p.m.; Saturday, Feb. 26, 9 a.m.-10 p.m.; and Sunday, Feb. 27, 10 a.m.-8 p.m.
Why Go: We do love our cars here, so head down to Cobo to soak up the turbo-charged atmosphere. Whether you're a gearhead or just plain curious, there's plenty to see here, from classic cars to celebrities and plenty more in between.
Pricing: At gate, $18 for adults; kids 6-12 pay $5; kids under 5 are free. Or get discount tickets at O'Reilly Auto Parts, $15 for adults, and kids 6-12 pay $4.


Where/When: Sterling Lanes, Friday, Feb. 25, 7 p.m.
Why Go: It's a night of bowling fun for a good cause. You'll enjoy three games, pizza and soda, and get a shot at winning raffles and other prizes and bidding on auction items. All to help ARC Services of Macomb.
Pricing: $25.


Where/When: Lorenzo Cultural Center, Feb. 26-May 7.
Why Go: Learn about our past through this info-packed exhibit. Drop in and learn about the nifty '50s, including labor, politics, science, entertainment and more. The exhibit includes presentations and lectures, including Feb. 26's 1 p.m. topic: The Rise of Television News in Detroit.
Pricing: Most of it is free to attend. We'll let you know when it costs something.

Why Go: Aspen regularly hosts these crime caper dinners, presented by Cecelia Bouchard. You'll enjoy supper and a mystery to solve. Tonight's mystery is "Potatoes Have Eyes." Hmmmm ...
