LCN Band to March in Santa Parade Today; Local Soldier Serves as Grand Marshall

Sgt. Davin Dumar, Lutheran North alumnus and veteran of the war in Afghanistan, will serve as this year's Grand Marshall for the Mount Clemens Santa Parade.

With the Crusader Marching Band, Macomb Township Fire Department and a local soldier all taking part, Macomb looks to be well represented in this year's Mount Clemens Santa Parade.

The 2012 event will kick off at 10 a.m. Friday, Nov. 23 on Main Street at Church Street. Lead by Grand Marshall and Lutheran North alumnus Sgt. Davin Dumar, the parade will proceed north to Market Street.

Wounded by an IED in the war in Afghanistan, Dumar and his family will be the recipients of a new home in Macomb Township, courtesy of Operation Finally Home and music megastar Kid Rock, next year.
