Sheriff's Deputies Arrest Detroit Woman Under Prostitution Ordinance in Macomb

On Sept. 25, Macomb County sheriff's deputies arrested a 42-year-old Detroit woman in the area of Homestead Drive and Card Road under Macomb Township's ordinance for prostitution, according to the sheriff's office. The woman was also cited for possession of narcotic paraphernalia, according to the sheriff's office.

Trio of Macomb Twp. Teens Arrested in Car Stocked with Marijuana Packets

On Sept. 17, Macomb County sheriff's deputies arrested three 18-year-old males from Macomb Township in the area of Black Oaks and Dutch Elm Drive for possession of marijuana and possession with intent to deliver, according to the sheriff's report. The three were found in a vehicle that was filled with individually wrapped packages of marijuana, according to the sheriff's report. Additional packages or marijuana were also found on the teens.

Detroit Men Arrested for Allegedly Stealing Gas at Macomb Mobile Station

Two Detroit men face multiple felony charges for allegedly stealing around 100 gallons of gas from the Mobile gas station at Hall Road and Heydenreich in Macomb Township. The men were found attempting to commit fraud by interrupting the satellite feed for the station's credit card processing system.

Court Gives Tavern at Tina's Until Oct. 15 to Build Bypass Lane or Close

A Macomb County Circuit Court judge has given the owners of The Tavern at Tina's to build a southbound bypass lane opposite the tavern's property on North Avenue and pay court costs accumulated by Macomb Township during the dispute by 5 p.m. Oct. 15 or face closure, according to court documents. The lane is currently under construction on North Avenue, south of 23 Mile Road.
