Staycation Thursday: Make an Easter Craft

It's going to be a bit chilly today, so planning an indoor craft project might be the way to go. The kids will stay warm and you'll have a colorful decoration to put up for Easter.

With tissue paper, scissors, cardboard and glue, you can make just about any craft. Use your imagination to make cardboard bunny ears or pipe cleaner carrots, or try one of these crafts with step-by-step instructions online:

Let Someone Else Clean Up

For a hands-on art experience, without the extra clean up, head to  in Shelby Township. No appointment is necessary for your children to  ceramics, plaster or create mosaics.

Plaster Playhouse is open 10 a.m.-5 p.m., taking the last painter at 3 p.m.

You pay for the piece, plus a $4-$6 studio fee for the whole day. This averages between $12 and $20 per person for the piece and studio fee.
