Team in Training Visits Biggby to Recruit Marathoners, Fund-Raisers

The endurance training program, Team in Training, is holding an informational session at Biggby Saturday for those interested in participating in marathons, century rides and triathlons.

When it comes to marathons and triathlons, there are two types of people – those who do them, and those who only ever think about doing them. This Saturday, a Team in Training will visit the to offer training and support to both.

"We will take you from the couch to the finish line," said Jessica Lupo, a member of TNT's campaign staff.

An endurance training program for couch potatoes and Ironmen alike, Team in Training also raises money for the Leukemia & Lymphoma Society.

"While you're raising funds for a good cause, we will provide you with five months of training with certified run and walk coaches, who also do rides and programs," Lupo said. "We have a coach in every single sport."

In exchange for the training and support, participants raise money to support LLS and its mission to cure leukemia, lymphoma, Hodgkin's disease and myeloma.
