Where to See Santa Claus Around Macomb Township This Holiday Season (2012)
Santa Claus is dropping into Macomb Township and neighboring communities this season to take wish requests and pose for photos.
'Tis the season for photos with Santa Claus. Here's a list of places the jolly old elf will be found around Macomb Township.
Ray Wiegand's Nursery
Santa and Elvin visit Wiegand's Nursery, 47747 Romeo Plank Road, Dec. 2, 9, 16 and 23 from noon to 4 p.m. Photos will be available for $5 or you are welcome to take your own. Kids can do a craft for an additional $5.

Donner and Blitzen will visit with Elvin on Dec. 1, from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.
Clinton-Macomb Public Library - North Branch

Dec. 15 at 10:30 a.m. Santa will be visiting the North Branch to read stories and take pictures. There will also be a small craft. Children must be preregistered and under 12 years old.
Clinton-Macomb Public Library - Main Branch
Dec. 8 at 10:30 a.m. Santa will be visiting the Main Branch to read stories and take pictures. Children must be preregistered and under 12 years old.
Clinton-Macomb Public Library - South Branch
Dec. 5 at 6:30 p.m. Santa will be visiting the South Branch to read stories and take pictures.Children must be preregistered and under 12 years old.
Santa will be in the mall's center court until Christmas Eve. Visit the mall website for more information.
Nordstrom in The Mall at Partridge Creek – Breakfast with Santa
Saturday, Dec. 15 from 8 to 10 a.m. Enjoy a family breakfast, holiday activities, face painting and a balloon bender, plus a visit with Santa. Space is limited. Tickets are $17 per person or free for two years and under.
Heritage Holidays – Wolcott Mill Metropark Historic Center
Fridays and Saturdays Nov. 30-Dec. 16, from 6 to 8 p.m. Visit the mill to meet Santa Claus and make keepsake crafts reminiscent of Christmas past, experience a 1950s Christmas in the barn and enjoy a cup of hot mulled cider from Mrs. Claus. Guests are also invited to watch the light show at the gazebo and warm up by the bonfire with "S’more-fun".
Preregistration is required. The event is $1 per person. Call 586-749-5997.
Lunch with Santa and Mrs. Claus – Lake St. Clair Metropark
Dec. 1 from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m. The fun begins with Rosco the Clown and story time with Mrs. Claus, followed by lunch and a visit with Santa at the Thomas S. Welsh Activity Center. Children will make a craft, and get their picture taken with Santa, plus receive a small gift from him.
Admission is by advance ticket sales only. Tickets are are $7 per person and on sale at the park office.
Lunch with Santa – Wolcott Mill Metropark
Dec. 1 and 2 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. Enjoy lunch and a visit with Santa, make a holiday craft to take home, and take a horse-drawn wagon ride, weather permitting.
Tickets are $7 per child/$4 per adult and are on sale at the Farm Center. Preregistration is required.
Lunch with Santa – Stony Creek Metropark
Dec. 8 at 11 a.m. and 1 p.m. and Dec. 9 at 1 p.m. Get into the holiday spirit with a visit, lunch, and sing-along with Santa. Kids can make a Christmas craft to take home, too.
Tickets are $5 per child/$3 per adult and are on sale at the Nature Center. Preregistration is required.
Santa will arrive at 6:30 p.m. Nov. 16 in front of Somerset Collection North between J Alexander’s and Capital Grille. There will be stilt walkers, jugglers, a caroling quartet and townspeople handing out roasted almonds to guests.
At 7 p.m., the Dearborn Marching Band will begin playing a holiday tune from Nordstrom’s to the center doors as Santa arrives in a horse-drawn carriage with Princess Celeste.
