Crocker House Garden Walk

The Crocker House Garden Walk will be held Saturday, June 25, from 9 a.m.-4 p.m. Tickets are $10 for members of the Macomb County Historical Society and $15 for non-members.

This special event features the Crocker House Victorian Garden, plus other beautiful gardens in the area. The day begins at the Crocker House Garden with a tour of the garden and lace-making demonstrations and a chance to tour the Crocker House (at scheduled times) and enjoy a continental breakfast while learning about wildflowers with Cheryl English. (This is a separate activity, with a ticket fee that must be reserved in advance: $6 for members, $8 for non-members.) Then pick up a map that directs you to the private featured gardens on the tour.

You'll take your own vehicle which allows you to start at any location you wish, but also allows you to take your time viewing these gardens.

One garden featured is the Miller Street Garden Boutique, which includes garden vendors who sell their garden wares and art. It rests behind a restored 1890s home which not only has its own garden, but includes the next two lots over. In celebration of its 125th anniversary the Tucker home is open for tours for a donation of $4 for members of the Macomb County Historical Society and $5 for non-members. Reservations are required, limited and non-refundable.
