Humorist and Author Headlines Mount Clemens Regional Event

Motivational humorist and author Judy Carter will share her "been there, done that" approach to letting go of stress and making the most of life at the second Real Women event, planned for 10 a.m.-3 p.m. at Mount Clemens Regional Medical Center (MCRMC).

Carter, who has appeared on the Oprah Winfrey Show, Good Morning America and more programs, will join several experts at the Real Women health and wellness event. Work-life balance, health-related topics and more are on the bill.

  • Smart Choices to Manage Your Weight:  Advice regarding choices in diet, exercise and lifestyle to help maintain a healthy weight
  • Intimacy at Any Age:  A candid discussion about intimacy issues from a woman’s perspective with Dr. Carole Fisher, OB/GYN specialist and Dr. Katrina Severance, OB/GYN specialist
  • The Truth about Pregnancy:  Candid information and Q&A for women who are planning to start a family, shared by new mothers who are also on staff as MCRMC OB/GYN leaders or physicians, with Dr. Carrie Champine, OB/GYN specialist, Dr. Linda Karadshs, OB/GYN specialist and Nicole Cito, RN, manager of MCRMC’s Family Birthing Unit
