The Lorenzo Cultural Center's latest exhibit, Becoming Michigan: From Revolution to Statehood, opens Feb. 25 and runs through May 5.
Visitors will learn about the state's early history via exhibits, presentations and activities.
On Feb. 25 at 1 p.m. the topic is "Michigan’s Quest for Statehood." Here, Roger L. Rosentreter, Ph.D., professor, Michigan State University, and former editor of Michigan History magazine, will talk about the lives of early settlers and the challenges they faced.

The lecture also will offered April 11 at 11 a.m.
The program is free, but pre-registration is required.
Exhibits are free and don’t require advance registration to view. The Lorenzo Cultural Center is open 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
