Lorenzo Center Presentation Examines Importance of Eastern Market

The Lorenzo Cultural Center's latest exhibit is Michigan's Harvest: Food, Farming & Community, featuring lectures, exhibits and entertainment.

On Oct. 13, Dan Carmody, president of the nonprofit Detroit Eastern Market Corp., will talk about the heritage of the market, how it strengthens our regional food system, and the vision for its future.
