Lorenzo Center Program on 'Troubled Waters: The Great Lakes Frontier on the Eve of the War of 1812'

The Lorenzo Cultural Center's latest exhibit, Becoming Michigan: From Revolution to Statehood.

Visitors will learn about the state's early history via exhibits, presentations and activities.

On March 17, Brian Leigh Dunnigan, associate director and curator at the University of Michigan's William L. Clements Library, will talk about the Upper Great Lakes frontier at the outbreak of the War of 1812.

The program is free, but pre-registration is required.

Exhibits are free and don’t require advance registration to view. The Lorenzo Cultural Center is open 10 a.m.–4 p.m. Wednesday-Saturday and 1-4 p.m. Sundays.
