Panera Bread and United Way for Southeastern Michigan are teaming up April 9 with a free family fun day, open to all ages.
During the event, parents will learn about free resources available through United Way's Early Learning Communities, a program which prepares the children for starting school.
While parents listen and learn, children will be able to enjoy educational crafts, cookie decorating and reading fun. Area author Jim Miller, who wrote A Spider Lives in My Belly Button, will be at Panera as well.
