Macomb Woman's Picture Earns Spot in Celebrate Michigan! Photo Contest
Wendy Mets of Macomb Township submitted a photograph of her granddaughter on a field trip to Westview Orchards & Adventure Farm in Washington, MI.
The photograph of her granddaughter and a donkey at Westview Orchards & Adventure Farm submitted by a Macomb Township woman is one of five pictures to earn a spot in the finals of The Detroit News' Celebrate Michigan! Photo Contest this week, according to the News.
Wendy Mets of Macomb Township joins Mark H. Breeden of Bay City, Scott Mapes of Jackson, Madeline Poster of West Bloomfield and Monica Jancha of Saint Joseph as finalists.
The photo contest asks Michiganders to submit photos that showcase "images that capture our state and its inhabitants at their best."

Each Thursday through Sept. 8, The Detroit News will select five entries that will become eligible for four grand prizes.
