PBS Spotlights L'Anse Creuse Choirs in 'Celebrate America' Broadcast
L'Anse Creuse High School and High School North will appear as featured groups in Detroit Public Television's "Celebrate America" broadcast on March 9.
Viewers like you who tune into Detroit Public Television this Friday will see not one, but two L'Anse Creuse choirs featured on the station's 2012 "Celebrate America" broadcast.
This year, L’Anse Creuse High School, and 15 other area choirs join the Tim Janis Ensemble for Janis' annual PBS broadcast and pledge drive.
L’Anse Creuse North, under the direction of Evey Simon, performs This Little Light of Mine, while LCHS, under the direction of Aaron Kabobel, performs a rendition of Blowin’ in the Wind.

The broadcast begins at 9 p.m. Friday, March 9.
DVDs and CDs of the 17 choirs that performed in this production will be available for viewers who pledge that evening to support PBS.
