Anytime Fitness Moves into Plaza at 22 Mile and Romeo Plank

The fitness franchise known for its 24/7 year-round availability is setting up shop in Macomb Township.

Local exercise buffs will soon have a new facility to serve their workout needs with the arrival of Anytime Fitness in Macomb Township.

The international fitness franchise Anytime Fitness is moving into a 5,000-square-foot storefront in Macomb's Waldenburg Plaza, located in the southeast corner of 22 Mile and Romeo Plank.

Still under construction, the facility is not expected to open until mid or late November, but once it does open, members will be able to access it 24 hours a day, seven days a week and 365 days a year.

In addition to various weights and Nautilus resistance and cardio equipment, the center will also offer personal training, classes in yoga, spinning and zumba, and fitness on demand, a program which allows users to project the exercise program of their choice on a screen in the gym day or night.

Twenty-four hour tanning will also be available.

Although the location is independently owned, members who sign up at the Macomb facility can use other Anytime Fitness locations after the first 30 days of membership.

The location is currently preselling memberships with reduced rates for the first 100 members to sign.
