Aspen Restaurant on Hall Road Adds Outdoor Patio

The outdoor addition should be open to Aspen diners by June 20.

Motorists passing in recent weeks may have noticed one significant addition to the venue's Hall Road facade: an outdoor patio.

Chef and owner Scott Pinter said the decision to expand Aspen's seating options was made "to provide more variety to our clientele."

Although the addition is still under construction, Pinter said he expects the patio to be open to guests by June 20. Weather permitting, the patio will remain open through September.

The area will seat approximately 40 guests and serve Aspen's full menu, which includes appetizers, salads, pasta, steak and seafood, and a wide variety of sandwiches.

The area will be non-smoking in accordance with Michigan's Smoke Free Law, which prohibits smoking in outdoor areas such as patios or rooftops where patrons are intended to receive service or consume food, beverages, or both.
