1st .. Lumberman's Monument overlooking the Au Sable river in East Tawas ... high view down ... Also within a short walk is a sandy beach on about a 45 degree angle & a 100 yards long where logs used to be rolled down to transport to sawmills. 2nd for me is Bruin Lake in Pickney ... State Of Michigan camping site with some pads right on the lake edge ... I brought a boat and just walked about 60 feet from camp to boat .. and away I go.
Never heard of Bruin Lake! I have to give it a try.
