Employee satisfaction has allowed a Macomb Township manufacturer to retain its status as one of Michigan's "Top 100 Workplaces", according to The Detroit Free Press.
PTI Engineered Plastics, which specializes in tooling and injection molding, was honored as a “Top 100” company based on employee feedback in a survey recently conducted by Workplace Dynamics on behalf of The Detroit Free Press.
This is PTI’s third nomination and second win in the category of mid-size (150 to 499 employees) companies.
“It was an honor to be nominated for the last three years, but especially gratifying to make the list twice,” said Kurt Nerva, President of PTI, in a prepared statement. “We value our employees and strive to provide them with a positive, motivating environment.”
Surveys were completed by employees throughout Michigan, who were asked to rate their company based on: Direction, Conditions, Execution, Career, Managers, and Pay and Benefits.
Earlier this year, PTI announced plans to expand its facility off 23 Mile Road in Macomb Township to bring the overall size of the plant to 155,000 square feet, which will allow for increased production and employment.
PTI serves the medical, transportation, defense, aerospace, electronics and consumer products industries. It offers design, engineering, tooling, and low and high volume production with a specialty in complex injection molded components.
