SMA Fundraiser

There will be a fundraiser at Tina's Country House, to help Grace MacKenzie, a Clinton Township baby diagnosed with Spinal Muscular Atrophy. Grace will turn 6 months on June 17, and her parents, Christine and Shawn, are holding a fundraiser to raise funds for Grace's care and needs, and to boost awareness for SMA, a rare disease that affects the muscular development of mostly children, where they have a hard time sitting, holding their heads up, or even breathing.

The event includes an all-you-can-eat mostaccioli or fettucine dinner, salad, rolls and cannolis; entertainment; silent auction and raffles; live music; and mascots from the University of Detroit and the Detroit Lions.

Cost is $20 for adults; $8 for kids 6-12; and free for 5 and under.
