Macomb Rotary Seeks Nominations for Businesses That Go Above-and-Beyond

The Macomb Rotary is asking residents to nominate local businesses that perform services beyond the scope of business for its 'Business of the Month' awards.

Rotary Clubs around the world encourage "service above self" and this fall, the newly re-christened Macomb Rotary is using that motto to recognize local businesses that go above and beyond to serve the communities in which they reside.

Sponsored by the Macomb Rotary Club, in parternship with The Macomb Daily, the Macomb Township-based club is asking residents in Macomb and surrounding communities to nominate businesses that perform services beyond the scope of business.

Nominations can be submitted at anytime and the Rotary will name one business each month the "Business of the Month." Rotary club secretary and temporary president, Dennis Torp, said the club hopes to present its first award in mid-October.
