Tell us how your business got started:

I attended MSU, graduated with a BA in interior design. I traveled overseas, studying art, architecture and garden design in Europe. I have taken many horticulture courses and studied landscape design as well. My combination of education and experience is why I am successful in both fields--currently focusing more on landscape design and installation. I often consult with customers to answer questions and give direction with their landscape projects. I have recently been trained on the latest version of Dynascape design (a computer generated landscape program) that offers a scaled, labeled and color plan for the customers understanding and bidding process.

Why did you choose your location?

I have lived in this area all my life and know what works for plant material to thrive.
