Macomb Twp. Teen Sends Bizzy Fizz Bath Biz to Hollywood

Skylar Bisel's Bizzy Fizz Bath Treats will be featured in luxury gift bags for industry representatives attending the GBK Gift Lounge in honor of the 2012 Primetime Emmy Awards nominees and presenters.

Friends and neighbors in Macomb Township have been enjoying for years, and now the stars of television are getting their first scent of the 14-year-old’s award-winning luxury bath-and-body line.

For the first time ever, the company's Sugar Lips Kit will be included in the swag bags prepared by The Artisan Group for the 64th annual Primetime Emmy Awards. These bags will be gifted to select talent managers, publicists, agents, stylists and other key industry representatives at the GBK Luxury Gift Lounge’s invitation-only cocktail party.

The bath treats will also displayed and gifted in swag bags at the GBK Gift Lounge for the 2013 Golden Globe Awards.

"It feels amazing to go to Hollywood because I know that most businesses never get to have this opportunity,” Bisel said. “These celebrities would never have seen our products if it wasn't for this event, and I know they will love them as much as all our other customers do. It's cool that we see someone on TV and know they have used our stuff. Some of them even tweeted us to tell us they really liked it. That makes me smile."

was started by mother-and-son team Laura and Skylar Bisel in 2005 and still operates from the family’s home in Macomb Township. Since preparing their first batch of bath fizzies for Skylar’s friends and teachers, the pair has expanded the line to include exclusive baby products and luxury skin care.

At just 14, Skylar Bisel holds the title of creative director for his homegrown company and can be found experimenting with new products in his basement lab on a daily basis.

The stars in attendance at the GBK Emmy party will be treated to samples of two of Skylar's creations: a Lip Polish to exfoliate dry skin and a Lip Hydrator to seal in moisture, both in a caramel flavor. Like all Bizzy Fizz products, each item is handcrafted in the Bizzy Fizz lab using vegetable derived squalane and a combination of oils and butters that make the product beneficial to dry skin and edible.

And for those Macomb Township residents who won’t be making it to the Emmys this year, they'll be able to try Bizzy Fizz Bath Treats at Clinton Township’s Festival of the Senses on Sept. 22-23.

Bath & Body Works has nothing on Skylar's products. He's going to give them a run for their money before he graduates high school!
