New Year's Eve: Where to Ring in 2012 Around Macomb

Just about every bar and banquet center has some festivities planned Dec. 31. Here are the spots around Macomb you'll find a New Year's Eve bash.

With 2012 just days away, where will you be watching the ball drop? If you're looking to head out to a nearby hot spot, here's the skinny on New Year's Eve bashes around town.

Imperial Lanes

What: Set a strike for the new year at the Moonlight Double Party (ages 21+) which includes a catered full course dinner, champagne toast at midnight as well as three games of bowling.

What: New Year's Eve Surf and Turf at Tina's Tavern includes a super salad, filet and lobster tail. Guests also have the option to party next door at Tina's Country House on Dec. 31 where they can dance the night away while feasting on Hors d'oeuvres and having full bar service.

Bar Louie

What: First come, first serve to Bar Louie's New Year's Eve bash where a special package fee includes a champagne toast, one small appetizer of food and house wine or draft beer. No tickets required.

Emerald Theatre

What: An open premium bar, rooftop view, buffet and private lounge with various acts performing throughout the night give way to the Emerald Theatre's New Year's Eve party. At 9 p.m., the Theatre will turn into a dance club.

What: Bring the whole family for New Year's Eve fun from 5-8 p.m. where guests of all ages can enjoy buffet food, unlimited arcade game play (includes $10 power card), a strolling magician and more. Adults can stick around for fun later on with a special "Let the Ball Drop" party from 9 p.m.-2 a.m. where a fixed ticket price includes drinks, a midnight champagne toast, unlimited arcade game play (includes $10 power card) and a live DJ.

Tin Fish

What: As you watch the ball drop on TV this New Year's Eve, feel hundreds of other balloons drop from the sky too at Tin Fish's bash. A champagne toast and live band will help guests celebrate the beginning of 2012 in style.

The Palazzo Grande

What: A gala party will grace the Palazzo Grande this New Year's Eve where guests will be treated to appetizers and cocktails beginning at 7:30 p.m, with an a la carte dinner at 8:30. Live entertainment will be provided by One Man Out as well as a live DJ. A premium bar will be available for guests to sip on drinks while dancing and partaking in a midnight toast.
