Have you ever driven down one of Macomb Township's rural roads and thought, "This could be a scene from a movie."

If so, the Michigan Film Office wants your help.

Filmmakers are scouting the area looking for a cinematic rural road to feature in an upcoming project and they're hoping Macomb County residents will point them in the right direction.

Producers have told the county they're looking for a flat, straight road with "trees like a tunnel encompassing it."

The road will be used for both modern day story telling and flashbacks to the 1800s so the ability to close it without hardship to residents or businesses will be important, the county says.
