Speedway on North Side of Hall Road at Romeo Plank Closed for Refurbishment

The gas station on the northwest corner of Hall Road and Romeo Plank is getting a facelift. It is unknown when it will reopen.

Drivers looking to fill up at Speedway will have to go south of Hall Road for at least the next week as the station on the north side of Hall at Romeo Plank gets a facelift.

The station, located at 18601 Hall Rd. in Macomb Township, is not expected to make any drastic changes in appearance other than new asphalt for the parking lot, but will remain closed until work is completed.

Township engineer Jim Van Tiflin said based on the permits pulled for the work, most of the work is being done on the parking lot and underground on the station's gas storage tanks.
