What Business Would Draw Customers to the Hidden Storefronts at Hall and Tilch?

Taking a 21st-century spin on community planning, Patch is putting everything on the digital drawingboard and asking residents to share their visions for vacant properties in town.

Every other week, we'll present a new vacant building and ask you to tell us what you think would be the best use. Forget what zone it's in, ignore setback regulations, dump lot coverage rules and all the other zoning jargon that puts most people to sleep. If you had your way, what would you like to see there? Two weeks ago, , across the street from . While there was the customary call for Whole Foods Market or Trader Joe's, most readers said they would like to see the center fill with unique businesses, such as a chocolate cafe, customized apparel shop, beauty salon or cakepop bakery.

This week we turn our attention to the somewhat hidden storefronts in the Hall-Tilch shopping center across from . Tucked away behind and , almost a dozen storefronts sit vacant, obscured from the view of Hall Road drivers.

It's possible that visibility is to blame for this area's continued vacancies, but certain businesses always seem to draw customers no matter their location. What type of business, or chain store, would draw attention to the area, even without it being directly in view of Hall Road?
