You're Going to Need a Bigger Wall: ABC Warehouse to Debut 84-Inch TV

The ABC Warehouse in Macomb Township will host an unveiling of an 84-inch Ultra HD Cinema 3D Smart television.

Television views who find their 40-inch televisions just too small can get a sneak peek Thursday at a set that is more than double the size of what once called "big screen," and includes a number of additional features.

The ABC Warehouse in Macomb Township is hosting an unveiling from 6-9 p.m. Thursday of an 84-inch Ultra HD Cinema 3D Smart TV from LG. 

The $19,999.99 television has an Ultra High Def screen resolution of3840 x 2160, which the company says quadruples the definition of the full 1080p HD.

“We have always taken pride in being able to offer our customers products that are on the cutting edge of what’s available on the market,” said Martin Hartunian, CEO and president of ABC Warehouse, in a release.  “We are excited to be the first to unveil LG’s new Ultra HD Cinema 3D Smart TV in our region. This product will create a home entertainment experience like no other.”

The new television also allows viewers to access over 1,000 Smart TV apps. The new 84-inch television will be available for purchase - just in time for the NCAA men's basketball tournament.

According to an article posted on www.rapidtvnews.com, the average TV panel diagonal has increased from 34.8 inches in August 2011 to 36.8 inches in August 2012.

Representatives from LG will be on-hand for the demonstration of the new television, and attendees will have the the chance to win items including a television, Blu-Ray player and home theater system.
