Walsh College Hosts the Mark Solomon Tax Symposium on September 26 in Troy

Taxation professionals are invited to attend a scholarly symposium at the Walsh College Troy campus on September 26, 2013, held in honor of Mark Solomon, a tax and business professor at Walsh for more than 30 years.

“Professor Solomon is a Michigan legend in the field of taxation and business law education,” said Walsh College executive vice president and chief academic officer Dr. David Shields. “He was among the first instructors in the master’s in tax program at Walsh, and his pursuit of educational excellence elevated the program to one of the best in the country. We honor his legacy through this symposium, through our Tax Research Center, through our graduates, and through the scholarship in his name.”
