A solemn September morning turned into a horrid attempt to terrorize the world's superpower. 12 years later, the world's most powerful democracy is still full of life. 12 years later, the cowardly founder of Al-Qaeda, Osama bin Laden, is justly dead.
8:46 a.m. changed the outlook of one of America's favorite skylines. Two beautiful buildings stretching 1,776 feet were dismally gone. Pitch black smoke tragically permeated the bewildered sky. Thousands watched a clear blue shade transform into a chilling inferno, fueled by evil and rocked by hell.

Innocent children waited for mom or dad to return from work that day, anxiously expecting the doorknob to finally budge. The doorknob was motionless. At that point, so was their lives.
