Use of the various social media platforms is nearly ubiquitous in today’s society, the most common of those being Facebook, with nearly 1 billion users. Our interest in Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram, and blog readership continues to grow. Most of us are familiar with the use of one or more of these outlets in connecting with friends, family, posting photos, and sharing information. In 2013, why not consider the use of social media in another meaningful way…To learn more about your Health!
We, the Ob/Gyn physicians of Eastside Gynecology-Obstetrics have begun using social media in a cool, new way…to share information on common topics in the area of Women’s Health. With the launch of our fun, new blog, GynoGroupie.com, we’re sharing news and information relevant to your female health. We provide blog posts (written by our own physicians and midwives) addressing common gynecologic health topics/questions/concerns, generated from the same topics we address regularly with patients, in our daily care of women. Our blog, with its accompanying Facebook & Twitter accounts, are gaining increased viewership.
